OCS eCommerce Setup

With CardConnect your clients will have the ability to purchase gift cards, packages and memberships through online client scheduling! A gift card can be purchased for themselves or can be sent as a gift via email.
 
Once your business is integrated with CardConnect please ensure to turn on the feature in your software account in order for your clients to start using it! Follow the steps below in order to turn new eCommerce feature on:
 
Proceed to: Manage>Management>Basic Settings>Business Settings>Detailed Settings
 
Under Point of Sale Settings, go to Credit Card Processing and using the drop down menu, change it to Yes. The same should be done with OCS eCommerce.
 






Once CardConnect is integrated with your Business and you have turned the feature on you will now have the options for eCommerce.
 
Your clients should log into their scheduling account with their username/email and password.
 


Step 1:  Click on the Shopping tab.
Step 2:  Select Gift Cards


Step 3: The amount that needs to go on the Gift Card will be entered in the Dollar Amount field
Step 4: The email entered in the Send to Email field, will be the owner of the gift card.
If this is going to be a gift then the email of the intended receiver should go in the Send to Email.
Step 5:  A personalized message can be added in the email. Font, Size and format features can be adjusted in the email sent with the gift card.
Step 6: Click Enter Payment Information


 
Step 7: Enter the Card information under the Gift Card Payment Information screen
  • There will be an option to save the credit card for future use.
Step 8: Click Finalize payment
 
Gift Card will now send to the email that was previously entered under Send to Email.


Purchasing Packages & Memberships
 
Step 1: Click on the Shopping tab


Step 2: Select Packages & Memberships
*  A list of all package/memberships offered by the Salon will be displayed.
 
Step 3: Click on a Package/Membership Name
* Package/membership details will appear such as; tax being charged, services and discounts included, price and duration.
 
Step 4: Click Purchase
* Use card on file OR choose to use a different card


Step 5: Review name and price of package/membership before finalizing your payment
 
Step 6: Select Finalize Payment
* Receipt of the purchase will be emailed to the client.
